Welder's Declaration

A Welder's Declaration is a document that includes statement(s) regarding project welding activities and welder responsibilities. It includes statements to ensure welders read, understand and accept responsibility for project welding requirements such as understanding welding procedure(s) to be used, preheat requirements and storage of electrodes. This document includes the welder's information and is signed by the welder.

This is a standard Welder Declaration document and is

can be changed to suit Company/Client requirements.

Rod Oven Temperature Log

The Rod Oven Temperature Log tracks temperature of stationary rod ovens (shop or office controlled) and portable rod ovens (for field use). This document is used as a method for checking and maintaining rod oven temperatures and provides evidence of meeting manufacturer's storage requirements for low hydrogen and stainless electrodes.

A calibrated pyrometer/heat gun or oven thermometer is typically used to take the temperature of the ovens. This version of the Rod Oven Temperature Log,

logs by date. This document is usually posted on a clipboard

in the shop or QC trailer for quick reference and completion.

The frequency of verification is typically daily or

at an interval determined by management.
